Here's Today's Tip!
Let go of your security blanket
We see children's security blankets as things they will (and should) soon grow out of. However, many adults have security blankets of their own. We stay in comfort zones that make us feel safe - unrewarding jobs, unhappy relationships - and avoid taking risks. Even though they're unrewarding, comfort zones, like security blankets, feel temporarily good. But these feelings inevitably wear off. Instead of trying to to get rid of immediate discomfort, put your energies into achieving a goal.
'Failures do what is tension relieving, while
winners do what is goal achieving.'
